Jennette McCurdy is a talented actress and singer! She keeps her two lives separate though. Her music career doesn't collide with her acting career. This is different from most teen stars who are on channels like Nickelodeon and Disney. Those people have talent but Jennette was willing to take a leap and not get famous for her music from her TV show, iCarly.
The song Not That Far Away is about leaving home to start off your future. She talks about her mother and how she will be okay on her own. This song is really inspiring. Definitely worth hearing. It's country with a little bit of a pop edge. 4.5 stars for this great song.
